The New Jersey Legislature did not have the votes to pass the bill to remove the religious exemption, so the sponsors did not bring the bill up for a vote late Monday, January 13, 2020. They are getting a call from someone claiming to be a DEA agent stating that the physician is under investigation. The caller requests a $25,000 bond, maybe to make the investigation go away.
