Next up, Massachusetts

As some of you know, Massachusetts is the only state (so far) that has the statewide flu mandated for all students up to and including university students up to a certain age.

Here is the mandate. https://www.mass.gov/news/flu-vaccine-now-required-for-all-massachusetts-school-students-enrolled-in-child-care-pre

It seems like a bad idea, just as bad as the UC flu vaccine mandate. Win or lose in the UC case, Bobby Kennedy and CHD want the Mass. mandate to be the next challenge. Experts are ready. and more will be added.

If you know anyone with school-age kids or university students who don’t want to take the shot, who don’t have a strong religious objection, and want to be a part of the case, have them email me. Of course, no charge to any plaintiff, as this is a public interest lawsuit. Bobby and I will be involved under rules for non Mass. licensed attorneys (pro hac vice, for you Latin buffs). It is important that the courts be given an opportunity to weigh in on these important health public policy issues. Today it’s the flu shot, next we’ll be hearing how great the pneumonia vaccines are and how many beds can be freed up if all adults were forced to take it and all the other vaccines which will provide all the “layers of protection” during these pandemic times. The courts need to weigh in on this, and we will see if we can make that happen prior to the mandate date.

  1. Great. We are very involved in MA and will send anything. Did you see our alert on the many locations? Here are some on our website http://www.nationalhealthfreedomaction.org :
California: University of California (students, staff and faculty)
Massachusetts: Massachusetts Department of Public Health (childcare/preschool, grades kindergarten – 12 and postsecondary institutions)
Massachusetts: University of Massachusetts Medical School (students and employees who enter UMMS buildings)
Minnesota: Carleton College (students and employees on campus)
New Jersey: New Jersey Assembly Bill AB4576 (public or private K-12 school, preschool, childcare center, or institution of higher education)

  2. I have a 1st grader and an almost 4 year old in preschool. My youngest has never had the flu shot but did have the flu when he was 3 (3 days of a fever). I never have a problem when I say no to the flu shot as my pediatrician only sees my healthy boys for their annual mostly. I am worried what the shot does to healthy people year after year. What happens to their little immune system?! How many new “vaccines” do we need?! We should make health decisions with our doctor individually not mandated by government because they think they know better. Everyone is different.

  3. I have 5 school-aged children: 5, 7, 14, 15, 17. We will not be participating in the flu shot, or any other mandated vaccinations for that matter. I have already sent in exemption letters for my 3 oldest high school children; the younger 2 are currently being homeschooled. I am concerned about both this flu mandate and all others they will try to push through in the future, as well as the possibility off the state trying to strip away our rights as parents to exemptions.

      1. Yes, Amy ! I’ve never needed an exemption letter (I used to have a choice!) but now I need one and I don’t know how to do it. A nurse said there was a form at mass.gov but I could t find anything and then I was told there no form, it’s just a letter. SOS

        1. I’m tr to omg to attach a copy of a photo of my letter, but it won’t let me. If you’re on Facebook please message me through there and I’ll get it to you.

  4. I am opposed to this mandate. I have two school age children 10& 8yrs old who have never received a flu vaccine and won’t be. They have had the flu in the past and their own bodies immune system did it’s job.

  5. Can you also help with the new mandate for healthcare workers in LTC, Adult day care, dialysis centers? Thank you for all you do.

  6. I homeschool my 11 & 13 year olds currently. My oldest wants to go back to public for high school next year. We no longer get the flu vaccine due to reactions that don’t count toward medical exemptions. If our religious exemption is removed she won’t be going.

  7. My family will not get the flu mandate shot! My daughter was very sick when she was 3 years old for 3 weeks! Never again will I do that to her!

  8. Thank you
I support the NO MANDATE ON any vaccine : flu , covid , etc
I do not even want first responders to have to take any kind of a flu vaccine or Covid vaccine

I am in full support of a no mandate, no mandate on any vaccines for any human beings at any age or any gender or any religious belief, at any time in their life.

    Thank you

  9. I have two children, Kindergarten and 4th grade. I would be interested in being a plaintiff. Just let me know what you need from me. Thank you for your time.

  10. My son goes to a Jewish day school. They require both staff and students to be vaccinated by November 15. I am not planning to do it. He loves the school and I don’t want to pull him out

  11. I will 100% support and join in on any potential class action for this mandate. My kids are 8, 13,17, and 20. They will absolutely not get this shot. I hope this mandate gets overturned, otherwise I may have to move out of state. I feel that strongly.

  12. I have 4 children ages 8, 13, 13 & 14. They only got the flu shot once and that was the only year we all got the flu. It’s been years since and we don’t intend to ever get it again. Even if I did want to get the flu shot, I do not want to be forced to get it. It should always be the patients or the parents choice, never the government’s choice. Please let me know how I can be part of the class action and help to overturn the flu shot mandate.

  13. My children are 15 and 13 and have never received the flu shot. This mandate infringes on my parental rights and im honestly petrified what other mandates this could lead to. Its very frightening! All children need to have access to public education!

  14. My children are 11 and almost 10. I don’t want to vaccinate for the flu. They both are on ieps. My daughter is overall healthy. She’s had the flu once and was better within 48 hours. She’s a child who generally has perfect attendance. My son has had reactions to other vaccines.

  15. Not only have we lost our rights for our kids but also for ourselves. my job which is remote now requites me to get a flu shot or I am terminated. where have any of our rights gone!! this needs to stop.
